Welcome to the wicked world of Submission South Beach, Miami Beach’s only party devoted to fashion, fantasy and all things fetish. The now-legendary monthly bacchanal traces its roots to a birthday party held in the Fall of 2010 at the trendy lounge Rokbar for Submission founder Robert Frost. The event was a roaring success, attracting over two hundred of Frost’s friends, everybody from grown men in diapers to middle-aged cross-dressers, sexy women in latex cat suits to balding leather daddies. From this seed grew the idea that became Submission South Beach.
“I’ve been living here for almost twenty years and there's never been a monthly fetish party here in the heart of Miami Beach,” says Frost, a veteran of the New York underground club scene. “So, I saw the opportunity to create something different, something edgier, something kinkier than the norm. The phrase; “let the music do the talking” was one of my first goals. I was already friends with three of the best local goth-industrial deejays: Danny Bled, Sandee Hell and Ray Milian. I knew tons of people in the local nightlife industry and I was a popular bartender. I felt that the Miami Beach club scene had lost a lot of the edge it used to have back in the 1990s and I was determined to bring that back.” Submission South Beach officially debuted three months later and quickly attracted as many as four hundred kinksters who regularly attended the taboo-busting soirees.
With performers like Mosh, Rubber Doll, Dani Divine, Cervena Fox, Idelsy Love, Nina De Lianin, Wildchild and many others Submission South Beach gained a reputation for being the wildest, most outlandish party in South Florida. From Club Dream, to Tree House, Vagabond, Grand Central and Trade Nightclub; Submission South Beach has also hosted parties with the Ft. Lauderdale porn convention Exxxotica Expo, as well as Fantasy Fest in Key West and Fetish Con in Tampa, while also debuting a quarterly sister party in West Palm Beach at Monarchy Nightclub titled Sinful Sundays. With continuing strides in the fetish scene, Submission South Beach was also an officially sanctioned event during the annual New York City fetish marathon week in May 2015.
Submission South Beach has now created another sister party called Fifty Shades Of Key West. One of our goals was to establish our brand in other local cites here in the state of Florida & now we’ve accomplished that goal. Submission Events are hosting events in six cities here in the Sunshine State. We organize events in Key West, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Tampa & Orlando.
Another one of our goals is to expand into other cities & states. We just launched another sister promotion in Los Angeles and it has real potential to be a powerhouse event.
Nachturnal LA was introduced over Thanksgiving weekend 2021 and now is a bi-monthly event for Submission.
Submission New York debuted back in 2015 and we are long overdue for another crack at the Big Apple. We are currently traveling & interviewing other venues across the country. They say hard work pays off and we've been through a stock market crash along with a real estate collapse back in 2011. Now, we've been through a major Pandemic from 2020-2022. Submission has fought its way through some major tough times and now we are on both coasts; including eight cities.
“The Submission team has big plans for the future,” says founder Frost. “We want to expand to other cities across the country and showcase our talents. We want to turn Submission South Beach into a nationally-recognized brand for the fetish community.”
